Login to Mautic

Production access

When visiting the Mautic application you will be requested to login. Mautic is not publicly accessible.

Password Management & Resets

  • Self-Management: For security purposes, all users manage their own passwords. System administrators cannot see your current password.
  • Resetting Your Password: If you forget your password, you do not need to contact an admin. Simply click the "Forgot your password?" link located on the login screen. Enter your email address, and Mautic will send you a secure link to reset your password and regain access.

Creating New Users (Admins Only)

  • Unlimited Accounts: Mautic does not restrict the size of your team. System administrators can create new users without any limit.
  • Requesting Access: If a new team member needs access to the platform, an administrator must create their profile and assign them the appropriate role before they can log in. Once the admin creates the account, the new user will receive an email with instructions to set up their password.

Non-production environments

NonNon-production environments require a specific login process. Because they use a sanitized version of the production database to protect sensitive information, your standard production credentials will not work.

Understanding Non-Production Data

  • Sanitized Databases: Non-production Mautic environments run on a sanitized copy of the production database.
  • No PII: They do not contain any Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
  • Unique Credentials: Passwords are not reused or synced between production and non-production environments. Even though your user account exists in the non-production system, your production password will not grant you access.

Requesting Access

  • Initiate a Password Reset: To log in, you must first request a new password for your user account on the non-production login screen.
  • Email Routing: The password reset email will not be sent to your real email inbox. Instead, it is caught and stored by the Mailpit instance associated with that specific environment.
  • Access Mailpit: Go to the environment page to access the Mailpit instance. image-20260424-105159.png

  • Find the Email: Open Mailpit, locate the Mautic password reset email, and click the provided reset link.

  • Set Your Password: Create a new password and use it to log in to the non-production Mautic environment.

Password Lifespan

Important Note on Syncs: The password you set here should be treated as a temporary, one-time password of your choosing. Whenever a new database sync happens from the production environment to the non-production environment, this password will become invalid, and you will need to repeat this reset process to regain access.
